Challenging Heights uses sensitization and awareness creation drives at community and district levels to educate and inform community members about the negative impact of child trafficking and the worst forms of child labour. This forms a key part of our prevention drive which aims at minimising the number of children who fall victim to modern slavery practices. We use different communications and IECs to educate the people including community durbars, film shows, drama and theatre, etc. We combine these with other approaches like radio advertisement, and jingles, among others, to ensure that we reach a wider audience. We operate a media outlet, Nyce 90.7fm which has coverage across the Central, Eastern, Greater Accra and parts of the Ashanti region. The media platform complements our sensitization and awareness creation drive and provides free airtime to stakeholders interested in discussing issues around child protection.
